This is me, what makes me tick?

Here we go,

My name is Cat. 
- I'm a 17 year old student born and bred in South East England. 
- I live (and always have lived) not too far from central London. 
- I am currently studying Psychology, Photography and German at AS-Level standard and loving every second of it!



I've chosen to write this blog in a fairly formal way to begin with, but I'll try to keep it sounding original and somewhat personal. Once I get onto the heavy duty opinionated stuff, I'm sure my true characteristics will shine through.


I guess I'm actually quite new to blogging, but I've always enjoyed debating and sharing my opinion with others. I've decided not to make my posts too personal, but equally, I'll try my best not to make them uninteresting, boring and/or without any character.
Along with the rest of the population, I have had my fair share of tough times in life and I've come to accept the highs and lows as they come. However, I like to think that the lows in life have helped me gain a deep, sensible insight into life, but I believe I only share a fraction of the insight that many others do. However, I expect that as every day goes by, my understanding of the world around me will flourish.


Anyone who knows me, personally, may read this and get the impression that I am in one of my serious moods, well.. that's right. I need to loosen up a bit tonight. I guess I'm just not sure who my target audience are? I think I should focus on the people who are actually likely to read this; my friends.


So, if you're reading this Ellie, or George, or my sister, Emily.. Hello! I'll see if I can find away to include links to your blogs in my posts. That is, if you have blogs? 


Anyway, I'm trying to think of blog ideas. You know? The whole reason I created this blog was to share my opinion with the world. Granted most of my posts will probably be lengthy rants about anything and everything on my mind, but I'll try to make them an interesting read.


Worth reading?!

• Well, I won't go near politics. Not only is it completely alien to me, but I just think it's a wasted of time. Yes, politics are probably this country's main structure. But as a 17 year old, it really doesn't interest me, nor do I think it is important in my life.
• I think I'll start with some information on my day/week/month at the time.. if I've actually done anything worth documenting. 
• I'll probably talk a lot about my own interests, my opinions on music, television programmes, recent news, etc. But I'll be scarce on the personal information to be honest. 
• And, if I can figure out how, I will try to post photos (and maybe even videos) related to the posts.

So, I think that pretty much covers it. I think I'll get on with writing my first actual blog.. post.. thing.

(p.s. I know for sure my sister will call me a "fag" for writing so formally, but.. well, I don't actually have an excuse for writing so seriously.. it's just what I do.)
